I have just completed a Masters in Project Management although this is predominately biased towards IT and technical projects the core project management techniques are universally applicable. As such I am actively seeking a new position, and willing to relocate worldwide. A British management professional my experience covers varied areas of responsibilities in particular the management of strategic projects in an international context, although these have been largely technical or production biased I have a broad knowledge of all aspects of operational management. I have extensive sales and marketing exposure due to my roles in product development. My direct customer facing role supporting the sales and marketing teams win business with key OEM accounts, including British Telecom, Hewlett Packard and Siemens. My experiences of mergers and core vendor selection have caused me to negotiate with high level executives with major companies’ worldwide, overcoming cultural barriers ensuring the success of the projects In the case of mergers often in a difficult and uncooperative climate. For the positions that I am looking for the recruiters and deciders will require in my opinion primarily four qualities in the person who can successfully fulfill the requirements. 1) A motivator and team builder, who can analyse the business, defining the actions required to advance, translate these into concrete objective driven projects, federating the team and piloting these projects to their ultimate goals. 2) A collaborative strategist, who has the vision to assist the elaboration of the medium and long term direction, who has the ambition and drive to bring these to fruition by the development of the team and taking advantage of identified opportunities, from the sales channels, the adoption of technical evolutions, or the use of new methods materials and technologies responding to the growing environmental concerns. 3) A communicator, who can translate his business and strategic vision into clear compelling language, to ensure colleague or customer alike are in no doubt about the merits of the project or product. Who is open and receptive to their concerns, capable of thinking on his feet and has the adaptability to integrate when positive for the business. 4) An organiser who recognizes the attention to detail required for managing the business and communicating to both customers and colleagues with the accuracy and detail needed to provide the framework for decision. I can by concrete example of many previous successes prove my ability to fulfill these four qualities, and illustrate my proficiency of technical, managerial and Project/Program management abilities.
